SPORTS EDGE APPOINTS JJVA NATIONAL COACH, DANIEL MAGNUSSON, AS NEW BEACH VOLLEYBALL DIRECTOR
ST. JOHNS, Fla. – April 5, 2021 — Sports Edge is proud to announce the hiring of Daniel Magnusson as the Sports Edge Beach Volleyball Director. Magnusson will serve as the head of all beach volleyball programs at Sports Edge Beach including both junior and adult beach volleyball programs.
Magnusson brings a wealth of Beach Volleyball coaching experience to Sports Edge, including serving as an NCAA DI Beach Volleyball Assistant Coach at UNC-Wilmington. In addition, he has helped coordinate and organize beach volleyball programs, camps, and clinics internationally. Recently, Magnusson has served as the Mandarin High Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach, as well as an 18 National Head Coach at Jacksonville Juniors Volleyball Association.
When asked about taking on the role of Beach Volleyball Director at Sports Edge Beach Magnusson said, “I am extremely humbled and thrilled about the opportunity to help grow the sport of beach volleyball for the Jacksonville community and for athletes of all ages and skill levels.”
Sports Edge GM Austin Lanteigne said on the hiring of Magnusson, “We could not be more excited to add someone like Daniel to our staff to grow our beach volleyball program. His knowledge and expertise in sand volleyball will help our programs grow for years to come.“
