Club Team Program Philosophy
The JJVA Club Volleyball program is perfect for competitive volleyball players who wish to continue building skills and compete in both one and two-day events in the Jacksonville area. Our club division offers training from our JJVA coaches twice a week in the evenings, and teams will enjoy a competitive tournament schedule without the expense and commitment of out-of-town travel.

2025-2026 Club Team Tryouts Information
Boys Pre-Tryout Clinics
Boys Pre-tryout clinics will be held October 27th-30th. Each age group will receive two 90-minute skills clinics for only $50.
Monday / Wednesday – October 27th and 29th
- Boys Ages 10U-12U | 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
- Boys Ages 13U-14U | 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Tuesday / Thursday – October 28th and 30th
- Boys Ages 15U-18U | 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Club Tryouts
Club tryouts will be held the week of November 3rd – November 7th.
TRYOUT COSTS
Registration Cost:
- $100, if registered before October 25th, 2025
- $150 if registered after October 25th, 2025
- $175, if registered day of the tryout
All Tryout Fees are Non-Refundable
*Once registered, commitment forms, tuition information, waivers, and tentative tournament schedules will be emailed to parents BEFORE tryouts. This package must be reviewed and digitally signed BEFORE tryouts in order to tryout.
TRYOUT PROCESS
All athletes will be assigned a number in order to be evaluated by our coaching staff.
Note: Coaches may ask to evaluate players in other positions in order to create or find the best fit possible for each athlete and team.
Tryout Format, Team Placement, & Team Commitment

- 6 vs. 6 Competition Evaluations
EACH PLAYER MUST HAVE BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN IN ATTENDANCE DURING THE LAST HOUR OF THE TRYOUT in order to complete the team commitment process. (See more below)
During the tryout process, coaches will begin ranking each athlete by position in an effort to start forming competitive teams.
Each court will continue the tryout evaluation process by competing in 6 vs. 6 drills. During these drills, coaches may ask athletes to switch between courts at any time as well as play multiple positions. Also during this time, our staff will begin asking specific courts to begin the player commitment process.
PLAYER COMMITMENT PROCESS
At the conclusion of Tryouts, each athlete selected will be offered a roster placement on a Club Team.

ABSENCE NOTIFICATION
If you plan to be absent from a practice or game, please submit the impending absence form to your coach BEFORE the scheduled absence.

TRAINING INFORMATION
All training is conducted by JJVA staff coaches and club team coaches. Additionally, strength and conditioning performance training is offered at an additional cost. For more details, please visit Sports Edge Performance.
*Parents: Please note that practices will be closed. No parents will be allowed to sit by the courts but are welcome to sit in the cafe.
