One-Day 2025 Tournament Series Information (Club Cup Tournaments)

Upcoming Local Tournaments

All one-day events in 2025 will feature divisions for both: 1) Non-modified Match rules & 2) Modified Match Rules.

Teams will play on ONE of the two days scheduled. No team will play on BOTH Saturday AND Sunday. Teams 14 and Under will Play on Saturday and Team 15 and Older will play on Sundays.

**CLUB CUP CURRENT SERIES**

The JJVA Club Cup Local Series will award a Club Cup to the club amassing the most points (point system based on teams placement in JJVA local series tournaments throughout the season, i.e. 1st place =10 points, 2nd place = 8 points, etc.) at the Jax Attack Championships in April.

Non-modified Age Divisions (USAV) will play regular USAV match rules during these events for teams looking to prepare for the next level of club volleyball.

Modified Age Divisions (MOD) will play under our currently in-place modified rules for these events to further encourage development and rallies.

Modified Rules:
As an independently sanctioned event, JJVA has modified the rules for these events to promote rallies. Athletes 14 and under are permitted to attempt their first serve from mid-court and will be told to move a step back after each successful serve. Athletes 15 and older are permitted to step in for their first serve and will also be told to move a step back after each successful serve.
The intent of this is NOT to take advantage of the system but to promote rallies for both teams. Please remember that we try to put teams with similar skill levels together in the same pool but that is always difficult with our first tournament one-day local event of the year.
