Travel Team Program Philosophy
The JJVA Girls Volleyball Travel Teams are designed to provide dedicated athletes with the opportunity to train in a competitive and challenging environment, further developing their volleyball skills. Our program is built to expose athletes to high-level volleyball teams and competitive match play, both locally and nationally, to accelerate their growth in the sport. We are committed to preparing athletes for success at the collegiate volleyball level and beyond by offering volleyball recruitment and college commitment guidance. Our volleyball travel program in Jacksonville aims to foster the development of college-bound volleyball athletes by competing at the highest levels in Florida and across the nation.
JJVA’s measurement of excellence is rooted in our teams’ ability to compete in the most competitive divisions for their age groups, both in AAU volleyball in Jacksonville and USAV volleyball teams in Florida. This commitment to excellence also extends to our long-standing dedication to helping athletes pursue their volleyball careers at the collegiate level.

2024-25 Season Information
Training Structure
We strive to create competitive youth volleyball travel teams in Teal, Black, Gold, and White per age group (11U-18U), where talent and skill allow. Girls’ volleyball team training will be held on the same evenings based on age group time slots, with practices designed by our Director of Volleyball, Adis Imamovic, and technical director Ashley Monfort.
IMPENDING ABSENCE NOTIFICATION FORM
If you plan to be absent from a practice or game, submit the impending absence form (Link Above) to your coach BEFORE the scheduled absence.
TEAM PRACTICE AND TOURNAMENT CALENDAR
- All Training is conducted by JJVA staff coaches and travel team coaches.
- Practices will consist of positional training, team training, and 6 vs. 6 wash drills.
- Practices are subject to change based on tournament schedules, including AAU and USAV Nationals.

*Parents: Please note that practices will be closed. No parents will be allowed to sit by the courts but are welcome to sit in the cafe.*
